Cell site evidence key to NCA case

Serving the criminal justice system and working to keep society safe is one of CCL’s abiding missions. We were delighted then to have recently received thanks from the National Crime Agency for our work in helping make the case against one of the most prolific child sexual abuse offenders the NCA has ever investigated.

Comms data was critical and we performed detailed cell site analysis surrounding attribution to a key phone and alleged movement. The opinion presented in the evidential report was accepted by the suspect and formed an important part of a robust case that resulted in a plea, saving time and money at court.
